Fundraising with Entertainment
Sydney Greeters welcome visitors to the city and take them on a personal, two- to three-hour walk, showing them the city beyond the guide books and off the beaten track.
Our greeters are volunteers who love Sydney and are keen to share with you their enthusiasm and knowledge about the city.
During the walk, visitors discover the city on foot or using the public transport network. Whether visiting a city for the first time or as a regular, greeters welcome guest to Sydney and look forward to showing them a part of “their” city.
The goal of the International Greeter Association, of which Sydney Greeters is a member, is to build a bridge between cultures and nations and create a mutually enriching opportunity for cultural exchange; create links between people to create a better world.
