About Us: Be Uplifted Inc
Be Uplifted Inc is a Brisbane-based grassroots charity run by a team of dedicated volunteers, and our work is limited only by the funds we raise. Our motto is ”People, not research” and all donations go directly to support those on a breast cancer journey.
We strive to meet the gaps within the current health system and offer support in both a practical and financial way to local patients undergoing breast cancer treatment, we support them during treatment and also help them with their recovery.
We operate primarily in North Brisbane and focus our support services to the following Brisbane hospitals:
- St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside
- North West Private Hospital
- Redcliffe Hospital
- Caboolture Private Hospital
- Caboolture Hospital
- Icon Cancer Centre Chermside
- Icon Cancer Centre North Lakes.
- Prince Charles Hospital
- Bribie Island Satellite Hospital
- North Lakes Health Precinct
How We Help
- Providing Drain Bags to local hospitals for lumpectomy and mastectomy patients
- We deliver our specially made “We Care” Hampers to oncology units and homes
- We provide free hand-made “Crocheted Knockers” breast prosthesis for our recipients
- We subsidise Counselling services and Lymphedema treatments
- We organise Hairdressing services for chemo patients
- Food vouchers and house cleaning services
As well as our regular support services, we offer individual financial assistance for items like medications, medical tests, food, electricity and phone bills

Since we began in 2009, Be Uplifted Inc has helped thousands of breast cancer patients during their breast cancer journey. Our volunteers work diligently to ensure that those suffering from a disadvantage because of their breast cancer diagnosis get the love, care, and support they need during a very physically and emotionally stressful time.
