Around 1 in 9 Australians have asthma, and about 1 in 13 people over 40 are estimated to have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). However, as many as 50% of people may not know they are living with the condition and could be breathing easier and enjoying a better quality of life.
Respiratory Care WA supports people living with asthma and COPD through personalised diagnostic lung function testing, education, support and resources for individuals and their families.
We operate from our West Perth office and Respiratory Hub locations in Perth and the South West, as well as via our telehealth service for those living in regional WA or who cannot attend in person.
Our team can also visit schools, aged care facilities, workplaces and community and sporting groups to deliver free asthma management sessions.
