As Australia’s only specialist eye, ear, nose, and throat hospital, we have been caring for the community since 1863.
The Eye and Ear offers more than 110 specialist clinics dedicated to diagnosing, monitoring and treating vision and hearing loss. We provide a 24-hour emergency department for urgent vision and hearing care. We also provide community-based services and telemedicine clinics across Victoria. As a government-funded public hospital, we serve those most in need - ensuring equitable access to specialist care regardless of background or financial means.
Your support will enable the hospital to meet our most pressing needs, which include purchasing medical equipment, upgrading hospital facilities and infrastructure, improving the care experience of patients and their families, and funding groundbreaking research to prevent vision and hearing loss.
