Blood cancers can affect anyone, anywhere, at anytime. Every day, 60 people will receive a blood cancer diagnosis in Australia - over 19,400 people a year.
ALLG’s mission is to design, develop and deliver clinical trials that create better treatments and better lives for patients living with blood cancers like leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
ALLG is Australasia's only collaborative clinical trial group for blood cancers. Our clinician researchers lead the way for Australian blood cancer patients to access the newest and promising treatments from around the world, right here in Australia.
Medical research and clinical trials are critical to test and advance new treatments to help cure blood cancer once and for all. Simply, clinical trials are the basis for every new cancer treatment available to patients.
Currently, more than 900 clinicians and scientists across Australia and New Zealand contribute to ALLG research. ALLG researchers play a pivotal role in influencing blood cancer treatment practice worldwide and improving treatments and outcomes for people with blood cancers.
The ALLG receives no ongoing funding and relies on the support of individuals and organisations to conduct our critical clinical research.
