The Kokoda Youth Foundation is a local charity that has been empowering young Australians to achieve extraordinary things for over 20 years.
For the past two decades, we’ve seen what Aussie teens are capable of when given the opportunity, support and guidance to realise their own potential, push beyond their limits and thrive.
Through outdoor education and powerful peak experiences, we help young people build physical and mental resilience, boost their confidence, and develop the core values of Courage, Endurance, Mateship, and Sacrifice – inspired by the legacy of the 1942 Kokoda Campaign. This is delivered through youth programs including:
- Kokoda Challenge Youth Program (KCYP): A transformative 9-month journey that builds resilience, confidence, and leadership through real challenge, inspiring purpose, and direction.
- On The Right Track (OTRT): A schools-based, early intervention program that helps re-engage students with their education and develop positive habits for the future.
- Digital Detox Program (DDP): An immersive 8-day outdoor camp that helps young people disconnect from screens and reconnect with themselves and others, building a healthier relationship with technology.
Together, we can create a lasting positive impact on the next generation.
20% of every membership sold goes directly to funding life-changing programs that help transform young lives. Every contribution brings us closer to giving more young people the opportunity to grow and reach their full potential.
We appreciate your support!
