Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre

Fundraising with Entertainment

Located just off the freeway in Stirling, the Family Centre is an Australian-first facility that connects, supports and inspires Western Australians impacted by type 1 diabetes. With a focus on providing clinical services in a community setting, peer-led information exchange, creative health programs and social support, the Family Centre represents a new model of care for people with type 1 diabetes and their families.

The Family Centre receives no State or Federal government funding. Fundraising initiatives like the Entertainment Book ensure we can continue to deliver our mission: to reach and serve every person impacted by type 1 in WA.

We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants, the traditional custodians and their continuing connections to lands, waters and communities where we live, learn and work. We pay respect to the Elders past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, the tradition and culture.
